Scottish Provident is a market leader in comprehensive critical-illness policies, alongside its already competitive life insurance, private term assurance and pension and investment products. It also sells income protection and unemployment insurance.

Scottish Provident life insurance offers a flexible 2-in-1 insurance cover called the ‘Personal Protection Plan’ that comprises of both critical illness cover as well as life insurance cover. It’s critical illness plan covers an impressive comprehensive list of 30 admissible ailments. This plan also uniquely includes a £20,000 cover for children and in the event a partner in a family makes a claim, the other partner can take up a single-person renewal policy with no further medical examination.

Abbey’s Protection plan also has an optional premium protection fee against unemployment.
